Salvation & Prayer

Ephesians 2:8 tells us, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”

One of the biggest barriers to having a personal relationship with God is believing that He can’t or won’t forgive you. Some people believe they are little more than beggars in the eyes of God, but that just isn’t true.

Being saved isn’t about the good works you do, but rather the grace that comes from God.

Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

When you confess with your mouth, you humble yourself before God.

To confess means “to acknowledge one’s acts or thoughts; to confess wrongdoing.”

Confession is a change of mind and heart that results in turning away from evil and looking to God for forgiveness.

Pray This Prayer

You can be saved today, by praying this prayer –

“Father, I confess that I am a sinner and I need your grace.

I turn from my past ways.

I believe in my heart Jesus Christ is Your Son.

I believe you sent Him to this Earth to die for my sins.

I accept the sacrifice He made on the cross in my place, and I rejoice that He rose again.

Jesus come into my heart.  Wash me in your blood  I confess you are my Lord. By faith in You, I am saved today.

Thank you, Father, for saving me through your Son Jesus!

Amen.”
