Pastor Ruth Ahamad was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of 10. As a youth, she attended Brooklyn Tabernacle Deliverance Center under the late Reverend C.R. Johnson. Pastor Ruth has been married to her husband, Hashim Ahamad for 38 years. Together they have three children, Hashim Jr., Jamal, and Taneah.
Pastor Ruth later relocated to Temple of Praise under Bishop Jeffery L. White where she faithfully served as an Elder and Pastor for over 20 years. In 2019 the Lord called her out to found and Pastor Zion Apostolic church where she has served for the last 5 years and counting. She also currently serves at Brooklyn Gardens nursing home under Chaplain Pastor Thompson.
