We are not governed by what we do or say. We are governed by what we believe to be so as Christians. Our Bible illustrates many situations and Saints who were adversely affected by what they deemed to be true in their heart of hearts! Adam believed every Word that proceeded out of the mouth of his God and then was seduced by the words of his wife and a serpent which led to the fall of mankind. His change in his belief changed the very trajectory of their lives. Noah believed he was instructed by his God to create something that had never been created before. This belief or Faith saved mankind from total disaster. Hebrews 11:1 defines Faith as “The assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. 2 Corinthians 5:7 says, “For we walk by Faith, not by sight”.
Beloved we as good stewards of carrying the Word must not be conformed by this world and all that it displays to us but that we follow our hearts which have been fixed and instructed by our God. Understanding that not our will but His will be done in our lives and on His earth. We must stay focused on the assignments He has assigned us to do. Believing without a shadow of a doubt that He knows what He is doing, and we blindly follow Him to our destiny. Hold on to your Faith, amid your obstacles, your haters, and even your very own doubt. Believe in your heart that our God has set us up to be blessed and to be a blessing. Finally, the songwriter penned these words to be true, “We come this far by Faith, leaning on the Lord. Trusting in His Holy Word. He has never failed me yet……”
